Hiring new employees is a daunting task on many levels. So many questions going on in your head, whether you are a HR representative or an owner or a small business:

-        Will they be any good?
-        I wonder how much value they will add to the team?
-        Can I rely on them?

However you could also ask questions like

-        Will they like it here?
-        Will they fit in to the corporate atmosphere?
-        Will they want to stay here long term

And the most important question of all ...

-        What can I do to make sure the above 3 questions get answered positively?

There’s a reason why Google, PEPSICO, Ernst & Young keep getting in the lists for the best employers in the world. It’s because they value their employees and seek new and innovating ideas on how to keep them in their company long term.

According to the 'Best Company' researchers the most important aspect to being a great place to work is to create an atmosphere of trust. Trust, of course, is a two-way street, whereby organisations must trust their employees before the employees will in turn trust their managers and senior leaders.

One item that can create trust is to create an interest in the actual person (not as an employee, team member, staff) but treating them as a human being. And how nice would it be to be able to offer them something small to let them know you appreciate them.

Incorporating corporate massage into your workplace is a very wise strategic move to increase the trust your employees have in you. They will think “wow this company cares about me!”

It might be additional expense to your company but the benefits that companies gain from it is worth it. Employees are expected to perform at a high level at all times, but let's not forget that they are just humans and they get tired and ill at some point.

Rewarding them with massages for their efforts will help them feel appreciated and increase their performance because it will help to relieve pain and stress and eventually will re-energize them.

Companies should always make sure that they acknowledge the work done by their employees. Let them know that if they do well in their work, they will be rewarded. Making them feel that they are important to what the company is doing will make them squeeze out every drop of their talents and skills and dedicate it to the company.
